Community Events

P1000494Throughout the year we organise regular community events, which are great opportunities for local people and the wider community of Bath to come together, have fun and make the most of our wonderful site. All our community events are free!

If you are interested in holding your own event at the farm please do get in touch to find out more about hire rates and what we can offer you.

Half Term Fun: Meet the Saxons!
Thursday 18th February 11am-2pm: Come and explore life in Anglo-Saxon Bath and Twerton. Make a Saxon pot, handle artefacts, try Saxon food and meet some exciting characters from the dark ages. Free entry! No need to book.

Litter Pick
Saturday 27th February 10.30am-3pm: Help us to make the Farm look beautiful and litter free in time for spring and summer. Soup and refreshments provided. Free! No need to book.

Community Tree Planting Day
Saturday 12th March 10.30am-3pm: We will be planting apple trees in our orchard and hazel trees in our new copse. Please join us to make it happen! Soup and refreshments provided. Free! No need to book.

Easter Holiday Fun: Easter Fun Day!
Tuesday 29th March 11am-2pm: Join us for craft activities, egg themed games, craft and plant stalls and an Easter egg hunt! Café open. Free entry! No need to book.

Easter Holiday Fun: Meet the Romans!
Thursday 31st March 11am-2pm: Come and explore life in Roman Bath and Twerton. Make a mosaic, try out a human sundial, eat Roman food, handle artefacts and meet some colourful characters from Aquae Sulis. Free entry! No need to book.

Annual Allotment Day
Saturday 2nd April 10am-3pm: The Farm needs you! Come and have a day on our beautiful Farm and help to plant vegetable, herb and flower seedlings. We will also be carrying out maintenance and weeding on jobs to help to improve the allotment. All abilities and ages welcome as there will be jobs for everyone! Soup and refreshments provided. Free! No need to book.

Spring Plant Sale
Saturday 16th April 11am-2pm: Give your garden a spring makeover! Good value perennials, herbs, vegetable seedlings, annuals, cut flower plants and soft fruit will be available to buy, as well as crafts, chutneys and produce. Bouncy castle and café open. Free entry! No need to book.
