Directions:

By car:

The City Farm is located on the hillside above Twerton Park Football Ground. Easy road access is afforded from the City Centre. From the Lower Bristol Road turn under the railway bridge (opposite MacDonalds) into Twerton High Street. Take the next left into Shophouse Road and follow the road up the hill onto The Hollow. Continue up the hill through the traffic calming scheme and take the first right into Kelston View. The main gates to the Farm are on the right. The car park is open when staff are on the site.

By public transport:

Take the number 4 bus from the bus stop on Dorchester Street (by the train station) to the Beehive Surgery stop on The Hollow. Walk a short distance back down the hill, turn left into Kelston View and the Farm entrance is on the Right. There is a picnic area on your left as you enter by the disabled friendly kissing-gate. The return bus stop is back down The Hollow on the left.

On Sundays, a 704 service runs on the No 4 route. This bus stops outside the Farm entrance. The return stop is directly outside the Farm.

Opening times:

The car park is open when staff are on site Monday - Thursday 9.30am - 4.30pm and on Fridays 9.30am - 2.30pm. There is NO charge to visit the Farm, however you are welcome to make a donation.

You can access the site every day of the year by the numerous kissing gates and stiles around the site. You do not have to have permission to visit the animals. If you require any leaflets, information or wish to buy eggs please call at the Farm building where staff will be happy to help.

Unsure of the times for a particular activity eg volunteering, family days or play sessions?, please use the links on this website for more information or ring the office on 01225 481269.

Please do not feed bread to the animals. Also do not feed the pigs as they need a balanced diet. Pig and sheep nuts are available for a small fee, when staff are on site.
