Run the Bath Half Marathon for Bath City Farm

Sunday 16th October 2022

Dust off your trainers and get fit in 2022! We still have places available to run the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday 16th October 2022 for Bath City Farm.

Participants must be at least 17 years old on race day and able to complete the 13 mile course in 4 hours or less.  Participants will receive a free tour of the farm, animal handling session and an invite to the launch of our new cafe.  You'll also receive cheers and support on the day of the marathon and a running top with your name on and Bath City Farm's logo.

In return we ask you to pay a £35 charity entry fee plus raise a minimum of £175 for Bath City Farm.  For further information and to book a place please contact Alison Howell at alison@bathcityfarm.org.uk

Youth Volunteering >

For 11-16 year olds who live locally and want to work with animals and gain experience.

Roots and Shoots >

Bring your little ones along to our popular toddler group to feed the animals and explore the farm.

School visit >

Take the learning out of the classroom and enjoy a hands-on educational session at the farm.

A relaxing gardening group where you can plant seeds, grow vegetables and enjoy the beautiful views.

Unwind during our crafting sessions with knitting, felting and drawing.

Natural Pathways >

Small relaxed group, learn hedge laying techniques, scything, wildlife gardening and more.


For adults with learning disabilities

EARTHworks >

A mixture of horticulture and animal care activities. You may find yourself busy in the poly tunnel or feeding the animals.

Training at the Trough >

Volunteers gain catering skills and knowledge around health and safety in the kitchen whilst preparing food.
