Take learning outside of the classroom and enrol on a supported work placement.

Our supported work placements focus on being outdoors. You will complete practical activities whilst developing personal skills. The skills gained, such as, problem solving, team building, communication, time management, personal responsibility, initiative and confidence are transferable enabling you to enter employment or higher education.

We can offer practical activities in:

  • Animal care
  • Horticulture
  • Grounds Maintenance
  • Wildlife conservation
  • Carpentry and green woodworking

We incorporate Maths, English and Science  into the activities through solving calculations, drawing plans and report writing.

When: Timings are flexible to suit the individual

For: Local students who are finding it difficult to engage with classroom activities or at risk of exclusion
